Batucada

Hi, I am trying OpenSounds and would like to post a simple idea. It deals with batucada, the brazilian samba played with percusion instruments only. Although there are some percusion instruments generally used to play batucada (i.e. repinique, surdo, low surdo, tamborim, cuica, caixa), if people do not have them they can join using whatever object that can produce sound. Following this idea, I have used some MIDI sounds and some basic rhythm patterns. The recording has four 8 bars sections and the idea is that anybody could join and add new rhythm patters on some or all those sections. It would be great to hear from drummers or anybody using technology to make music.
